Ohh looks like Mike will be going to the gym to learn some proper self defence and get himself up to shape. This should be interesting.

Also i see Bonnibel is standing very close to Mike here upfront.

Got to prepare for the possible return of you know who. *wink*

Yep, sitting on his lap. :)

Ah yes Should "IT" ever return, Mike should be ready to stand up to It and fight it head on.

SO Bonnibel is sitting on his lap? That's cute though i wouldn't know that till you told me that.
hykez87 27th Mar 2020, 10:17 AM edit delete reply
Or at least a fighting chance.

Bonnibel just being Bonnibel. XD

Bonnibel is probably crushing Mike's toes, the poor bastard.
hykez87 27th Mar 2020, 12:59 AM edit delete reply
She's sitting on his lap

Oh, well at least Cheeky isn't here to make an innuendo. Pretty sure we'd rather keep the innocent aura of Bonnibel.

Won't stop her from embarrassing her though. XD

Mike working out with Fred, or walking with Bonbon or the chickens is a really good way to open up interesting dialogue. I'm really proud that you can find a way to always keep the ball rolling. Tell me, do you write the script for it down on a piece of paper then convert it to a comic, or what?
hykez87 28th Mar 2020, 1:22 AM edit delete reply
Yup, those small moments are a great way have some character development and reflections.

I used to write the script down, I keep getting distracted by other things. So I just do everything in a few sittings.

Something that's always really interested me is the world of Roommates, How everything is so foreign to Mike. Something that's sort of overlooked is that Dr. Pepper is completely gone from this world. It would be really cool to see Mike starting to learn information about just how different his memories of what the real world were compared to the world he's in now.

I do plan to have Mike and Faz have a conversation about these topic, I might even make it a bit of a Q & A with questions from my readers

Something also strange is that Mike probably has nothing to his name in a figurative manner, since he just popped into existence and lived there for what I would assume is 3 months.
(Talking about the events of roommates, him staying in the hospital, and your sequel.) Mike finding out that he doesn't legally exist is a very existential and emotional concept.

The way I see it, he's basically living a blank slate and starting a new life in his new world.

Based on the original story, seems like Mike had been independent for a quite a while and he doesn't seem to have any contact with any of his relatives. I think this plays a huge part as to why he's quick to adapt to changes.
The only acquaintances we know that he still have are his coworkers from the pizzeria , which he doesn't remember.

To clarify, (because it was really sloppy in how I worded it.) What I mean is that I would imagine that there's literally nothing, no paperwork, no files, that prove that Mike really exists since he was transported to the world with animal women that want to kiss him not too long ago.

It's something that really doesn't matter due to it being unnecessary to explain, but I still think it's a fun idea for Mike to wonder about and maybe tell Faz about it.

Another thing is that Mike can remember having an "work related injury" But not being able to explain what the accident was or what the job even was when he's asked about it. What's more is when he gets the check, he doesn't really question it because he already knows what it is.

At the very start of Roommates, and a little later on, He knows that he was in the accident, and remembers his childhood, but the further he looks back on the events of his life, the more it gets fuzzier, with what seems like years that happened relatively recent are just missing from his consciousness.

Alright, so hear me out. This is just my theory.

When Mike and Safety switched with each other, the world carried over every data and files about Mike to make it seem that he had always been there. At the same time, tries to lead him to his friends given his connection to Freddy Fazbear's Pizza.
I think, its their world's way of filling in the gaps and keeping things as consistent as possible.
But it also tries to compensated for it by, suppressing some of his memories, like his former job or the existence of France.
It seems to work the same way in Safety's case.

But, like I said. It's just a theory, a Hykez87’s theory.

A very good and probable possibility.

But does Mike know that? What I mean is for him to think about it and make some kind of bold claim only for it to be nothing to worry about probably.
hykez87 31st Mar 2020, 1:17 AM edit delete reply
Based on the original story, when he burned the news clippings, that was the part when he decided to throw away the remnants of his connection to his original world and stop trying to figure how he got there, who he really is and accepted that this is his home now.

But, I believe that there still a part of him that still nags him about it.
I did hint it during his reflection while he was on duty.
